Soldier is an infected dressed in a light gray tank top and urban camo pants.

Overview

Soldier is a regular zombie that has no special attributes. It has relatively low stats for a mid-game enemy.

Strategy

Soldier can be considered an upgrade from Zombie. Apart from movement speed, Soldier's stats make him ever so slightly stronger. Not throwing up and needlessly stopping does make him slightly faster overall. Despite this, Soldier doesn't behave any more different to Zombie, thus hardly making him a threat either.

Trivia

• Internally, Soldier is referred to as "Cheechmarin", in the same manner as Private Rodriguez.
• Soldier is one of the few enemies that can be gibbed.
• Soldier can be considered an “upgraded” version of Zombie.
• His shirt appears to be missing the left arm & shoulder area, however, inspecting his animations reveals this is a mistake in his idle animation.
