Minor Characters

Despite the nature and flow of its story, DA:ZW contains a few notable minor characters who play a significant role in either gameplay or story, and some even both at once.

Gas Man

Nicknamed "Gas Man" is one of the workers at "Joe's Repairs", along with Mechanic. Despite his lack of presence at the battlefield, he plays important role in Sheriff Bill's team, as he scavenges for fuel with other people, and does the general maintenance of the bus. It's believed that he might be the eponymous Joe himself.

Mr. Buff

Mr. Buff is a drug cook/chemist who makes buff items. He can only be found in the Daily Gifts menu. His occupation raises questions regarding on the exact process, which was never specified in-game.

Scientist

The Scientist is one of the epidemiologists who were exploring a ruined city. Laconic results of his research gave an insight on how hopeless the state of things is. His appearance slightly resembles that of people who have later turned into Psys.
