Boss (Item Set)

Boss is an early/end-game item set. It consists of slick black-colored items fit for an office manager.

Items

Boss items are available in Epic and Legendary quality. The set includes the following items:

	Cup	Knife	Watch	Book
Sprite
Name	Thermal Cup	Trench Knife	Smart Watch	Notebook

Set Bonus

Once a unit with this set comes out of the bus, they and all units (including the units summoned after them) receive a 25% damage boost, which can't stack. If another Boss wearer is sent out, the timer is reset to 3 seconds.

Because Agents naturally count as two units, they make the timer last 6 seconds instead of 3 when coming out of the bus.

Analysis

This set is best used on spammable fighters, as it essentially turns them into an on-demand boost for every single unit on the field. Sadly, this severely limits the number of units who can safely utilize this set, because it becomes largely inefficient if used on anyone who takes even 5 seconds to deploy. On the other hand, the few units that make good use of it can prove to be exceptionally helpful, such as Private Rodriguez, Glenn, and especially Redneck.

It's interesting to point out that Boss can work as an "all-around" option when a unit fails to get use out of any specialized sets. It can work as an offense-oriented alternative to Fast Food which also fulfills that niche, though Boss sets can be more beneficial stats-wise due to their legendary quality availability. Some example units include Nancy and Queen, who typically have a difficult time maximizing the utility of other sets such as Gentleman or Surgery.
