Surgery (Item Set)

Surgery is a mid-to-late game item set. It consists of sterile surgical equipment meant for a hospital setting.

Items

Surgery items are available in Epic and Legendary quality. The set includes the following items:

	Cup	Knife	Watch	Book
Sprite
Name	Sterile Cup	Scalpel	Lab Timer	Medical Book

Set Bonus

This set doubles all damage output of its wearer as long as their current health is 50% or less.

Healing to 51% health and above will disable the effect, but it can always be reactivated again.

Analysis

Despite this bonus looking like a generous berserk power up, it doesn't see any real use on anyone other than heavyweights like Policeman Diaz and Chopper, since they can continue fighting at half health without being one step away from death, and also get a chance to be supplemented by Medkits, if need be. Pretty much all other units are just too fragile.

It's theoretically possible to get a good usage out of Surgery with damagers, especially Guard, but that implies running +% health books while the vast majority of them benefits more from +% crit. chance. The closest exceptions are Grenadier and Light Soldier since their crits don't cause knockback.
