Nailgun

Nailgun is one of the weapons available for use in Dead Ahead. It's a standart cordless nailgun, and is the sixth weapon that can be unlocked by the player.

Description

Nailgun is a machine gun type weapon that can be purchased in the shop for 16000 coins, starting from rank 7. It's the second gun of that type in the game.

The reason for Nailgun's existence is exactly the same as with Heavy Pistol: to give players a significant upgrade from its early game alternative. Despite being underwhelming at basic level, a single upgrade is enough to make Nailgun comparable to Heavy's overall damage output, and when maxed out it proves to be a significantly better option. Unfortunately, it all implies making large spendings on a single gun. What's worse is that at rank 7 the player also unlocks Chopper which is arguably a much better investment in case one skips Dirt Bike. Ultimately, whether to buy Nailgun or not depends mostly on which vehicles and weapons you already own.
