The timing would be insanely hard without the wall mart event,due to the rarity of the witch,which would make it hard to consistently sent out grenader in time before the witch is the closet zombie 

And no,the horde won't work,because witches are very fast,so it would hard to see if grenader would targeted it during the fight,as it close in

But i will try my best to re-confirmed this
