Endless Bridge is a game mode where units face against waves of enemies across sections of a partially dilapidated bridge.

This mode is unlocked from the Star Reward system after the player collects 45 stars.

Gameplay

Alternating waves in Endless Bridge

The Endless Bridge is composed of many spans. Each span contains a few waves of enemies that must be cleared to progress to the next. Once a span is cleared, the player cannot replay it or previous ones. A span costs 2 Fuel to enter and restart. Restarting on the current span at any point puts players back to the first wave. While the number of enemies faced during waves is predetermined, they will be repositioned after retrying.

The current battle deck is used upon entry. This deck will be used across each wave of the current span. Players start with 100 courage points to choose which units to place on a 3x3 grid for the current wave. Once the units have been chosen, they will fight the enemies. All units will often attempt to turn around to attack should an enemy get behind them. They will cease following or attacking if they manage to slip past far enough, however. Buffs and Support items are available for use once the wave starts. For the latter, rage starts at zero, so it must be collected before they can be used.

After completing a wave, a 15 courage bonus is granted, and the remaining units will fight on in the proceeding wave. New units can be placed down if they haven't been placed already, and all units can be freely repositioned before starting the next wave. If a unit dies during a wave, they are unavailable for the remainder of the span. Support item cooldowns persist between waves.

A wave is complete when all enemies are killed, including those that run off-screen. Enemies that can produce more enemies such as Egg, Necromancer, and Sapper require the enemies spawned from them to be eliminated as well. Likewise, threats like Undead and Sergreant must exhaust all their revives before continuing unless their corpses are burned. Marauders are exempt from this. As long as all marauders are killed, a stage can progress regardless of whether they manage to turn after death or not.

The Van appears as part of the game mode. However, it does not need to be protected since it can't be targeted or damaged by enemies.

How the leaderboards work

To qualify for the leaderboard in Endless Bridge, players must first complete all current bridge spans. The leaderboard placements represent the order in which players complete all currently available bridge spans.

If you have already completed all current spans, once the addition of new spans arrives, only then can you attempt to achieve a new placement on the leaderboards.

Ranks

Ranks in this mode indicate what place a player has finished completing all current spans. These ranks are displayed along with the Metro Rank.png Metro and x19 Skirmish ranks next to the players name on any leaderboard if they have it.

There are only 4 Ranks within Endless Bridge:

Leaderboard placements can change only when new bridge spans are added.
